We here at the VipersHouse  have had an exciting year  this  2011 season

Our  Genetic Reduced Patterened  Spider Male has proven to be 1 serious Power House Breeder,

we have 2 clutches  that he has fathered  and in both clutches something truly amazing and RARE  has happened ,

In the 1st Clutch  we had a double sire  

Male Spider and Male Pinstripe  to a Normal Female

and that clutch yeileded 7 eggs ,

and in those 7 eggs  were

2 normals , 4 pinstripes and 1 egg that contained QUADRUPLET!!!! Spiders ..

Yes thats correct  4 Spiders in 1 egg .

As far as we know we are the 1st  to ever Produce Quadruplet  ball pythons .

and in the 2nd clutch laid  was  Male Spider x Normal Female  and we got 6 eggs from that clutch ,

in the 6 eggs are  2 normals 3 Spiders  and in the last Egg we have a set of TWINS !!! that are also Spiders .

So our Male Spider has proven to have some very unique  genes in his DNA .

Now  at this stage we are unsure

if all the Quadruplet babies will survive or not  .

but none the less we are very excited to have been part of  a Reptile Industry First ,

and also possibly a small historical event  of being the first to produce Quadruplet Ball Python babies .
